PACT is a community organisation that promotes more environmentally sustainable living in Penrith and Eden to tackle the climate and ecological crises.  PACT is part of ZCCP which is working to make Cumbria a net zero carbon county by 2037.

Penrith Action for Community Transition (PACT) is seeking a part-time Community Action Officer (CAO) to help deliver our environmental projects.

The CAO will work mainly from home as a freelance contractor.

They will support PACT project delivery, communications, promotion and administration.

This is a 9-month contract for an average 30 hours per month (with potential for extension and for more hours).
