This Is Us

This is Us is funded by Westmorland Furness Council and Central Government, through the levelling up agenda.

It will deliver place-based support to organisations and volunteers to enhance volunteering opportunities in Westmorland and Furness, while supporting those organisations through training and 1:1 sessions in capacity building, governance and sustainability.

This is Us is based across the Westmorland and Furness area, with staff based in the former Barrow in Furness, South Lakeland and Eden districts.

Staff will be offering:

  • Governance and trustee training
  • Fundraising support and funding searches
