How you can help us

We want to build partnerships between public sector bodies and voluntary agencies, to make best use of the resources, ideas, and skills we all have.

We want to improve representation of the voluntary sector across public sector bodies – and vice versa.

We want to improve our sector’s impact in tackling the entrenched financial, health and social inequalities that exist in our society and you can be at the forefront of this critical work.

We want to communicate more effectively: not only about our own services, challenges and successes, but those of the wider sector and Cumbrian communities.

We want to take our next digital steps in our service delivery – and help other organisations to make best use of available technology and resources – without reinventing the wheel.

And we want you to enjoy making it all happen! We believe in empowering our team to make decisions, to innovate and to celebrate success.

If you feel an affinity to our values, our culture, our ambition – and have the skills and experience to match – please get in touch: it could be the start of something very special…

This commitment is to guarantee an interview for any veterans that meet the essential criteria set out in the role profile for roles where external recruitment is required only. The scheme is not a guaranteed job for Veterans, as selection procedures will ensure the best candidate for the job is appointed, based on the objective criteria of the role profile.
