Join Cumbria CVS

There are two types of Membership for Organisations:

Free CVS Membership

This form of membership is free to join and open to all voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations operating in Cumbria, including community groups, registered charities and social enterprises. This Membership provides:

  • Early access to our monthly CVS E-bulletin and Focus on Funding update
  • Access to Members Only website content containing:
    • Our free learning programme
    • Evaluation and research resources
    • Access to online learning provided by external partner VSL Learning, including GDPR, Cyber Security, Safeguarding Adults, and Safeguarding Children (Free for organisations with income of less than £100k, or 25% discount)
    • Other resources and support in development, including priority/early booking for our training and events
  • Right to vote at our AGM
  • Free advertising of your job vacancies on our website

 

Stakeholder membership

This is a free, non voting membership service for CVS stakeholders, typically those from the statutory, health and public sectors. Stakeholder membership provides an opportunity to show support for the work of CVS and to stay informed and connected, without carrying formal voting rights or governance responsibilities. It provides:

  • Early access to our monthly CVS E-bulletin

Organisations that can be Stakeholder Members include:

  • Town/Parish Council
  • Local Government
  • NHS
  • Private sector organisation
  • Consultant
  • Funder
  • Public Sector Support Organisation (i.e. arms length bodies)
