Health Inequalities – How can Social Prescribing meet the challenge?
A community of practice event for the social prescribing system in North Cumbria looking at how link workers can help people overcome barriers to accessing community-based support
The morning will explore the key role of social prescribing in tackling health inequalities in North Cumbria, whilst the afternoon session will comprise workshops offering practical ways link workers can help break down barriers for people accessing community-based support.

A networking event for link workers and voluntary sector organisations in Kirkby Stephen and surrounding areas with a focus on transport, isolation and the power of befriending.
Link workers will learn more about the support available to people who are isolated, and what some of the barriers and challenges might be in Kirkby Stephen.
