Following on the success of the first South Copeland Voluntary Group Network event held at Millom Network Centre, you are invited to attend the second network event to be held at the Thwaites Village Hall at The Green Millom and meet other voluntary groups in South Copeland and share information and catch up over a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit. There will be a short presentation by Cosy Homes which will be useful for those who support the more vulnerable and elderly in our community. So come and join us and be a part of an amazing network of voluntary groups doing incredible work in South Copeland.

This is a network meeting for Volunteer Managers in Cumbria or anyone who is responsible for recruiting, supporting or managing volunteers to come together to spread good practice in volunteer management.

This meeting will bring together Volunteer Managers in Cumbria to look at how to recruit and support young people into Volunteering.

This event is online via TEAMS.

An opportunity to meet South Copeland’s Development Officer, Berry Moyle Rosser,  working with Cumbria CVS and learn how he can support local organisations with grant applications and funding, training and recruitment of trustees, sourcing volunteers and also governance issues and assisting in setting up start up local groups. If you need support for your organisation, come down and grab a coffee or tea and have a chat with Berry.

Brampton ICC Meet the third sector event

Space for 30+ organisations – a great opportunity for third sector groups to connect with colleagues from health and care services and to showcase their services. Third sector groups/organisations are to book a table space at the event .

Cumbria CVS is working in partnership with Cumbria Chamber of Commerce to host their Business Bites Network Meeting at Cumbria CVS , Shaddongate Resoure Centre, Shaddongate, Carlisle as part of Trustees’ Week 2024 on Tuesday 5 November from 10.30am-12noon.

Cumbria CVS is inviting 8 organisations that are looking to recruit new trustees in Carlisle to attend this event in order to network with local businesses and promote your trustee volunteering opportunities.
