Do you occasionally work alone? Do you know how to keep yourself safe?
This course will look at:
- Top tips in personal safety
- Developing personal safety / lone working measures
- What to do in an emergency situation
- How to recognise potentially difficult situations
- Danger codes and alert systems

By the end of the session we will have looked at:
- What does Equality and Diversity mean to us?
- Equality and diversity in our life and volunteering
- Equal opportunities and respecting diversity
- Key legislation: the Equality Act and protected characteristics including duties and responsibilities; challenging discrimination and tackling prejudice
