Furness For You – Lunch and Learn

You are invited to come along to the Furness For You – Lunch & Learn session hosted by Cumbria CVS.

This session aims to attract those that are feeling lonely, chronically isolated or anyone interested in finding out more about the Furness For You project and how it could help support you or someone you know. This event is open to the general public to come along, have some lunch and find out more about what’s on offer from the Furness For You project across the Barrow and Furness area and is funded by the Know Your Neighbourhood Fund.

By coming along to this session you will:

• Learn about the Furness For You project, what it is, what’s on offer and which organisations are involved.
• Find out about how you, or someone you know can get involved with the project and receive support.
• Learn more about each of the organisations involved.
• Find out what volunteering opportunities are available in your local area.
• Learn more about the Cumbria CVS volunteer opportunities database and how to sign-up.
• Get the chance to chat with others in potentially similar situations.
• Have a chat with a Cumbria CVS & Furness For You representative to see how you might personally benefit from the project.
• Have some lunch & refreshments on us.

Places will be confirmed after the registration closing date of Friday 29 March 2024. Please book early so places can be confirmed & catering can be organised in plenty of time.
