South Cumbria Mental Health Partnerships Officer

Fixed term until 31.03.2025 but could be extended subject to funding

Salary – £29,511 FTE

Hours – 30 hours/week

Base – Flexible working in terms of both location and hours of work. There may be occasions when office working will be required at our Kendal or Carlisle offices.

Overview:

This is an exciting new post to improve integration between the third sector and statutory mental health services for people experiencing a severe mental health illness in South Cumbria.

The post holder will develop and promote effective models of cross-sector collaboration, integration and partnerships in South Cumbria to better support the health and wellbeing of people who experience severe mental illness. They will also support effective third sector representation on key mental health and social care governance structures, steering groups and programme boards in South Cumbria and Lancashire & South Cumbria ICS/ICB regional area.

We are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic applicants who understand and value the contribution third sector organisations make to supporting people who experience severe mental illness.
