The Silloth RNLI team will show a group of volunteers around the boathouse, explaining the vital work of its team and their individual roles, what is involved in being a volunteer on a daily basis and the equipment they use.
Volunteers will hear all about the capabilities of the lifeboat before seeing it in action when it launches from the slipway.
This Volunteer Taster Day takes place on January 26th from 10am until 12.30.
