Winter Planning and hospital discharge innovation event

This in-person event is an opportunity for our sector to spend time discussing and developing innovative ideas and projects to support hospital discharge and help alleviate the extreme pressures our hospital and care systems experience during the Winter months.

We are still planning the event but hope that it will include:

Short presentations from:

• statutory sector colleagues about the pressures they experience

• third sector colleagues delivering integrated services in partnership with NHS and social care colleagues

Workshop sessions to:

• Develop ideas alongside colleagues from the NHS & social care

• Develop innovative projects & partnerships with third sector colleagues

• Think through how we can work as a system to seek out resources from NHS, Local Authorities and charitable trusts and funds

PLEASE NOTE – there is no guarantee that projects developed at this event will receive funding from NHS or Local Authorities. We hope that this event and the resulting innovative projects & services will put our sector and health and care colleagues in a strong position to secure national and regional funding when it becomes available.
