A QA Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid (QCF) approved course appropriate for nominated emergency first aiders or anyone requiring a comprehensive one day first aid course.

Upon successful completion certification is valid for three years.

The course will include:

• Health and safety (first aid) regulation Managing an incident;
• The priorities of first aid
• Treatment of an unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation
• Common workplace injuries

• Understanding dementia
• Understanding how dementia can effect an individual
• Living with dementia
• Common difficulties and how to help
• Dementia Friends initiative
