Online Network & Listening Event – Top Tips for Good Governance

Is your charity governed effectively and in compliance with your governing document and charity law?

Can your governing body demonstrate that your organisation is effective in achieving its charitable purposes and agreed outcomes?

Do you feel that your governing body have a sense of how well they are functioning and whether they are fulfilling their roles?

Do you conduct an organisational health check? And how often?

This is our third networking and listening event as part of the This is Us project and the focus is on what makes good governance for small charitable, voluntary organisations and community groups in Eden/South Lakes/Furness.

You will be sharing best practice and challenges, meeting other organisations, offering peer support and working through a practical activity.

This event is part of our This Is Us project, made possible by Westmorland and Furness Council through funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Priority for bookings will be given to those volunteers supporting organisations in Westmorland and Furness area.
