Enhance your organisation’s volunteer recruitment and marketing efforts with our empowering Social Media Masterclass. In this engaging and interactive session, you’ll explore various social media platforms, understand audience demographics, and craft engaging content to target potential volunteers. You’ll also learn how to use digital tools like Buffer and Pi.AI for content creation, and harness resources such as the Volunteering in Cumbria Portal to expand your reach. Gain insights into the RACE digital marketing framework and develop your personalised social media strategy document to take away. Join us for the day to build your skills and confidence in social media, to support your community to thrive through effective online engagement.

Upon completing this Social Media Masterclass, participants will be able to:

*Effectively navigate various social media platforms and their features, tailoring content to engage target audiences for volunteer recruitment and community engagement.

*Analyse demographics and utilize data to create strategic content that resonates with potential volunteers and supporters.

*Implement digital tools and resources to streamline content creation, scheduling, and expanding the organization’s reach.

*Design a bespoke social media strategy document for maximum community impact.

Available for a maximum of 2 places per organisation.

Please arrive at 9.45am for coffee and registration, training starts 10am.

Lunch will be around 12.30 – 1pm – sandwiches will be provided.

Free parking is available at the Rugby Club.

We expect this training to have a high number of sign ups, so please do let us know well in advance if you will be longer be able to attend or if a delegate name needs to change. Please note: if bookings not cancelled within 1 week of the event or non attendance – the organisation will be charged £50 for the cost of training/refreshments.

This event is part of our This Is Us project, made possible by Westmorland and Furness Council through funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Priority for bookings will be given to organisations in Westmorland and Furness which are Cumbria CVS Members.
