Green Community Hubs & Steady Strides

Cumbria CVS is supporting Groundwork NE and Cumbria to keep connections building around Green Social Prescribing in North Cumbria. Groundwork and Cumbria CVS are co-hosting an event at Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s Gosling Sike site at Houghton near Carlisle on February 18th. 

They will be showcasing their ‘Green Community Hubs’ – spaces in Carlisle where people can access outdoor space for activities, and introducing their Steady Strides walking project, funded for the Carlisle area by Travel Actively.

It will also be a great opportunity to see the beautiful nature reserve at Gosling Sike and find out more about the work of Cumbria Wildlife Trust.
