Funding Surgery

Understanding how and who to apply to for funding is an issue that many voluntary and community groups have to deal with. To help such groups Cumbria CVS is holding free surgery sessions.

The surgery sessions will last 30 minutes and will give groups the opportunity to discuss items such as how to be ‘fit for funding’, where to look for funding and to get advise on how to write a good application.

Simon Cole, Local Engagement Officer, says “applying for funding can be complex and many groups find it very difficult to navigate. We at Cumbria CVS are here to support and advise groups through the process”.
