Emergency First Aid at Work – FULLY BOOKED

The QA Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) approved course is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace or anyone requiring a comprehensive one day first aid course.  It will equip individuals with essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations. Certification is valid for three years.
The syllabus includes:

• Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
• Assessing an incident
• Managing an unresponsive casualty
• Recovery position
• Choking/Seizures/ Shock
• Wounds and bleeding
• Minor injuries (cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns and scalds)
