GETTING CONFIDENT WITH DIGITAL VOLUNTEERING
A series of events exploring digital volunteering and helping organisations get more confident with finding and working with their digital volunteers. Each session with explore a different theme around digital volunteer: Vision, Journey, Systems and Learning.
The first session will be ‘Developing a digital volunteering vision’, focusing on the value of digital volunteers, what the digital roles your organisation is looking for and ways you can find and support your volunteers needs. Bedrock Basics Digital support officer will share ways to identify what skills gaps your organisation may have and how to work safely with volunteers and your organisation’s data. We will hear about digital volunteering experiences and some of the barriers organisations face when looking to work with digital volunteers.
We will also be sharing tools on how to do a basic digital skills audit, and looking at a digital policy and digital volunteering roles templates, to help get your organisation started!
