CUMBERLAND COUNCIL area – Find out about the Councils NEW health inequalities research & how to get involved

Wednesday 11th September 2-3pm (online)

You are invited to a session led by Cumberland Health Determinants Research Collaboration, to discuss the health inequalities that are seen across Cumberland.

The session aims to:

  • Raise awareness of Cumberland Health Determinants Research Collaboration and its role in Cumberland Council
  • Listen to your thoughts around health inequalities and what research could help us to improve them

What is the HDRC?

The HDRC boosts research capacity and capability within local government. HDRCs aim to embed a culture of always using evidence when making decisions. HDRCs use research findings to understand how decisions impact on health and health inequalities. They also carry out research where evidence isn’t already available.

Cumberland HDRC’s Aim

The Team would love to hear what evidence you think Cumberland Council could use to underpin its decisions, in order to support every resident to enjoy health and wellbeing.
