The course will help you gain a better understanding of:
- The role of a befriender
- Skills and qualities of a befriender
- Confidentiality and when you might need to break it
- Boundaries and keeping a professional relationship
- Referring concerns and queries
- Safeguarding yourself and others
- Respecting and accepting differences
FREE for all volunteers*
* A £10 cancellation fee will apply if a place is cancelled within one week of the training and/or for non attendance.
