JOB TITLE:                   Adult Carer Support Worker

ACCOUNTABLE TO:     Adult Carer Project Manager

HOURS:                       22.5 hours per week  (up to 30^th Sept 2025 with possibility of extending)

 LOCATION:                 Cumberland (West Cumbria)

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

• To work as part of the Carer Support West Cumbria Team, assist in the identification of carers of all ages, assess needs and implement appropriate support mechanisms to assist carers in their caring roles
• To raise awareness of the needs of carers with both statutory and voluntary sector agencies
• To undertake contingency planning arrangements with carers for emergencies
