We are currently recruiting for an Administrative officer. We are looking for a well organised, friendly individual, who wants to be part of our team, support our work and make a real difference to local communities to support the delivery of the UK Shared Prosperity funded project This is Us. The Administrator will manage the project enquiries; maintain effective and efficient administrative and volunteering monitoring systems; support the administration and delivery of activities and events, support effective communication with partners, stakeholders and individuals, as well as lead on the collation of data for reporting to the funder.
As part of the This Is Us Project, Cumbria CVS is currently recruiting a:
Administrative Officer (Westmorland and Furness)
Salary: £24,242 (FTE) pro rata
23 hours/week. Fixed term until end March 2026
Flexible working, in terms of both location and hours of work.
There will be occasions when working will be required across different locations in Westmorland and Furness with main office base in Ulverston or Kendal.
We are looking for a motivated, skilled and experienced individual who are keen to support improvements in their local communities. People with knowledge and/or experience of working in similar role, understanding of work within the local voluntary and community sector will be an advantage.
All individuals need to have excellent organisational skills, good people and communication skills, be able to prioritise and manage their workload effectively, be proactive in supporting the wider team. Excellent IT skills (MS Office) with an aptitude for learning new IT software and databases are essential.
