Do you want to make effective use of storytelling as part of your fundraising? Storytelling is a valuable fundraising skills that can be used to inform and influence your potential funders and supporters. Telling stories is a powerful tool that is often overlooked. Join us for this four hour training course ( 2 x 2 hour sessions) and learn how you can use the power of stories from your work as part of effective fundraising.
- Explore the importance of “why” your organisation does what it does and get down to the heart of the issue.
- Look at “where” to source valuable information and store it within your organisation.
- Understand “what” different types of stories financial donors are looking for and “how” to incorporate your storytelling to full effect.
- Discuss “what” makes a good story and finding the right balance of emotion and statistics.
- Build your storytelling techniques.
- Review your stories and get feedback from your peers and the trainer.
