Introduction to Employment Best Practice

Bedrock Basics Project is delighted to offer you free training on “Introduction to Employment Best Practice.” This training is free and is for trustees / management committee or / and staff with HR as a part of their duties and responsibilities with non-profit organisations delivering services in west Cumbria.

We are pleased to be working with William Hare Limited. The course will be delivered by Kirsty Brennan, Head of HR & Training with William Hare Limited.

This one-day course provides an introduction and overview of a range of HR essentials for your non-profit organisation including:

• Recruitment & Selection
• Onboarding (Induction) & Probation
• Treating People with Respect
• Coaching for Success
• Investigation & Disciplinary
• Managing Absence
• Managing Performance

WHEN? – Wednesday 30^th October 2024 OR Wednesday 11^th December 2024. From 9.15am – 3.45pm.

WHERE? – The Beacon Portal, West Strand, Whitehaven, CA28 7LY

HOW MUCH IS IT? The course is FREE thanks to funding from Sellafield Ltd Transforming West Cumbria Programme and Cumbria Community Foundation and support and assistance of William Hare Limited. Lunch and refreshments will be provided free of charge to all participants.
