Eden Volunteer Managers Network Meeting

This is a network meeting for Volunteer Managers in Eden or anyone who is responsible for recruiting, supporting or managing volunteers to come together to spread good practice in volunteer management.

This meeting will bring together Volunteer Managers in Eden and aims to strengthen volunteering across the Eden area.

The session aims are:

• To give an overview of the UKSPF project support to Eden third sector organisations
• Understanding Eden organisations needs with regards to volunteers and volunteering
• Training and support for Volunteer Managers and Volunteers
• Planning for Volunteers’ Week 2024
• Introduction to the Volunteering in Cumbria Portal
• Volunteer Recruitment
• Sharing good practice and ideas with Eden Volunteer Managers to help strengthen volunteering in Eden.

There will also be an opportunity for other Volunteer Managers to share updates and any issues relating to volunteers and volunteering in Eden.

Registration and coffee will be from 10.30am with the event starting promptly at 11.00am. Lunch will arrive from 12.15pm, the meeting will aim to close at 12.30pm for lunch and an informal networking opportunity closing at 1:00pm.
