Cumbria CVS has partnered with VONNE to deliver support to voluntary and community organisations in Cumbria wanting to improve their environmental credentials.

Cumbria is planning to become Net Zero by 2037. With this ambitious target, we’ll be leading the UK in sustainability and kick-starting a greener and fairer future. The voluntary sector is perfectly placed to support this goal, with our close connections to local communities. However, we recognise that for organisations without environmental experience, the move to becoming sustainable can look daunting.

The Become Green Together programme, delivered through the Going Green Together partnership, was designed to make this process accessible and affordable. Up until the 30th September, you can apply to this scheme to gain environmental consultancy and accreditation, and carbon footprinting tools, with up to 75% off. You’ll also be joining a cohort of peers from across Cumbria and the North East, learning together and supporting one another.
