An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new role within our Westmorland and Furness Team. We are recruiting for:
Development Officer (10-12 months fixed term) until 31st March 2026
£27,507 – £29,190 (FTE)
26 hours per week (part-time working/Job Share considered)
In one of our offices (Kendal, Ulverston)
Hybrid working available, visits to Furness area
We are seeking a skilled and experienced person to join our team to help deliver services for Cumbria CVS to the local voluntary and community sector in the south of the county (South Lakes and Barrow). The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, have an understanding and appreciation of supporting groups with issues around Governance, Funding, Business Planning and be able to support the development of greener policies aimed towards greater sustainability.
They will also be well placed to help increase collaboration, partnership working and joint delivery of services towards the creation of healthier, more environmentally sustainable communities and a greater sense of place.
They will join a team operating across Westmorland and Furness.
