Administration Officer (HR & Volunteering)

22.5 Hours per week

Salary: £24,242 (FTE) pro rata

Hybrid: Based in our Carlisle office but we are flexible in terms of both location and hours.

Working within our small administration team but with a focus on HR and Volunteering, you will manage and maintain effective and efficient administrative systems for Cumbria CVS.

 

Key Duties

  • Supporting the volunteering manager with maintaining the volunteering database, delivering training for the volunteering database, creating how to guides and resources for the database, formatting and mailing newsletters, printing for events.
  • Supporting the HR function with all recruitment related tasks, maintaining the BrightHR system, sending out letters and other HR correspondence.
  • Monitoring the HR email inbox and actioning emails.
  • Provide high quality administrative support to Cumbria CVS staff and trustees as requested.
  • Carry out general office tasks such as handling mail, stock control and telephone duties.
  • Support the delivery of internal and external events, training and meetings including booking venues and booking of delegates as required.
  • Assist with setting up internal meeting and training rooms, clearing of rooms and providing refreshments.
  • Any other administrative related tasks.
