Morgan Sindall Infrastructure will be running a new training session on GDPR and Cyber Security Training. We are all working more digitally and new technology is emerging constantly, so staying up to date with safe working practices is very important to keep your organisation and workers safe. The session aims to cover the basics of GDPR and data handling, as well as some common cyber security risks and best practices to help avoid common pitfalls around digital security. The session will cover some of the basics, but they are also keen to tailor the content to suit the range of activities and services delivered by participant organisations. If you* are interested in a place, please email Laura at laurar@cumbriacvs.org.uk.
The training is booked to take place on Wednesday 28th February from 12noon – 3pm at Morgan Sindall Office, Robinson House on Westlakes. Refreshments will be provided.
*Training is free and we are offering one place per organisation at this time.
Bedrock Basics is part of the Transforming West Cumbria programme, supported by Cumbria Community Foundation and funded by Sellafield Social Impact Multiplied. Morgan Sindall Infrastructure
As part of our commitment of being a responsible business, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure are committed to enhancing our communities though community engagement, through
employing locally, working with educational partnerships to create opportunities and working with the third sector in ways that will deliver real lasting value to our communities.
Enhancing communities is the vehicle in which we deliver social value. Social value is a term for the economic, environmental, and social benefits that are experienced by people in the communities we live and work in. It is the additional, wider benefits and broader social outcomes that can be created by organisations and projects, for individuals and local businesses. It is also an opportunity to ensure that our projects provide a lasting positive legacy in our communities whilst we are working in them and once our work is completed.
