Furness For You – Volunteering Fair

You are invited to the Furness For You Volunteering Fair, organised by Cumbria CVS. This event aims to attract those that are chronically isolated or anyone interested in finding out more about becoming a volunteer and local volunteering opportunities. This event is open to the general public to come along and find out about volunteering across Barrow-in-Furness and is funded by the Know Your Neighbourhood Fund.

By attending the event volunteers will find out more about which Furness For You Partners are looking to recruit new volunteers, the wide range of local volunteering opportunities available, when and where volunteers are needed and how to become a volunteer.

Organisations attending the event will be able to talk to any potential new volunteers about:

• What their organisation does
• Volunteering opportunities available
• Time commitment
• Training and support available
• How volunteers can register to become a volunteer
