Design for Wiser Action Funding Bid Writing Workshop

A 2.5 hour online facilitated funding bid writing workshop using the Design for Wiser Action collaborative planning tool. The workshop is the first module in a two part program of support. The second module will be the South Lakes Funding Fair on 17th September.

Attendance at both modules is strongly recommended to get the most out of this support, however it is not mandatory. The Design for Wiser Action Workshop will support participants in initiating a new funding project by generating ideas, getting clarity about their project and providing structure for clearly presenting their idea when they meet the funders face to face at the funding fair. By attending this Design for Wiser Action workshop, participants will be more ready to talk about their project and funding requirements to funders, and have a better understanding of which funders to approach on the day.

First Aid Training for Volunteers

Build your skills and confidence as a volunteer on this First Aid course.

This Emergency First Aid at Work course is for volunteers, and will cover a range of content, including: the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, conducting a scene survey and calling for help, primary survey of a casualty, CPR, use of an AED, secondary survey, recovery position, seizure, blocked airway, bleeding, shock, bites and stings, burns and scalds.
