Civil Society Workshops

The University of Cumbria is working with the Cumbria Lieutenancy, Cumbria Development Education Centre (CDEC) and Thinking Philanthropy to develop an enquiry into how Cumbrians define an effective Civil Society. We are asking together:

– What is most needed to create a more thriving and equitable community life in Cumbria?
– What is working already that makes us a strong, connected, and flourishing place to be?

If you would be prepared to join us in this investigation, there is one remaining in-person opportunity: Barrow on 4 July.
