Citizens Advice Barrow is seeking a full time Energy Champion for one year. Funded by Cadent, the main purpose of the role is as follows:
- Help Cadent Gas identify the consumers who are vulnerable or disadvantaged, and to provide an accessible and inclusive energy and welfare support service
- Provide advice to clients so that we can achieve realisable financial, health, wellbeing and energy saving impacts for local communities
- Build relationships with local stakeholders including local MPs, Councillors, Health Professionals and third sector agencies such as charities and community groups
Our Energy Champion will receive full adviser training and will represent Barrow Citizens Advice within our community.
