An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new role within our support staff team, we are recruiting for;
Facilities Co-ordinator
22.5 Hours per week
Salary: starting at £25,412 (FTE) pro rata
Based in our Carlisle office but we are flexible in terms of both location and hours.
This is a new role that has been created within the organisation to help manage our buildings. This will be a standalone role but you will work closely with the Finance & Resources Manager, the HR Manager and the administration team.
Key Duties
- Conduct weekly and monthly building checks including fire alarms, fire extinguishers and water
- Manage office operations such as organising scheduled and reactive maintenance, meeting contractors on site and monitoring annual inspections
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence including phone calls in relation to the buildings
- Organising training courses and informing relevant people
- Monthly equipment checks
- Administration of all health, safety and facilities related activities including reports, training records, inspections and corrective actions
- Maintain our health and safety database, “BrightSafe” ensuring all issues and maintenance are kept up to date and clear
- Manage & maintain contacts with tenants to maximise service income and occupancy
- Manage tenant enquiries, allocate and progress actions
- Be the point of contact internally and externally for health & safety and buildings related enquiries
- Any other facilities related tasks
What we are looking for

- strong administration and organisation skills
- experience in a similar role would be desirable
- An understanding of health & safety and building maintenance would be desirable but not essential
