This online session will provide the opportunity for you to Meet the Funder and find out what you need to know in order to make an application for your project/organisation. Their funding for Round 3 in 2025 opens Thursday 25th September and closes 12 noon Monday 6th October.

The Sport England Movement Fund offers funding via crowdfunding pledges and grants to improve physical activity opportunities for the people and communities who face barriers to physical activity and need it the most. They can fund a wide range of costs and items up to £15,000.

In this webinar we will cover key information about the fund, including the fund’s criteria, what can and can’t be funded, how to apply and what to include in your application.

This 2.5-hour online workshop is designed for small organisations and community groups who are new to bid writing. It will support you in shaping and clarifying your project idea, exploring it with others, and gaining confidence in presenting it to funders. Keswick and Solway ICC Population Health Third Sector Showcase

Come and meet up to 100 staff based at GP practices across the Keswick and Solway Integrate Care area (this includes Dalston, Wigton, Keswick, Silloth, Caldbeck etc).

The practices are hoping to understand more about the community support available to their patients so they can improve the health of everyone, especially those who are most in need.

West Cumbria Volunteering Fair

This event aims to attract the general public to come along and to meet local groups, charities or organisations to find out about local volunteering opportunities and how individuals interested in volunteering can register and become a volunteer.

By attending the event the general public will find out more about which organisations are looking to recruit new volunteers, the wide range of local volunteering opportunities available, when and where volunteers are needed and how to become a volunteer.

First Aid Awareness Training for Volunteers

This training is aimed at volunteers who support local organisations to enhance skills and knowledge. The course will equip them with an understanding of First Aid Awareness and cover a range of content including: responding to common incidents like choking, bleeding and cardiac arrest, the role of a first aider, assessment of incidents, dealing with an unresponsive casualty and dealing with minor injuries. Places will be confirmed after the closing date of 1st September.
