Supporting Allerdale drop-in

Monday June 10th

The Centre West Cumbria,

10am-1pm

Do you run a small charity, community group or CIC in Allerdale? This free drop-in is an opportunity for you to access any support you may need.

Our area is full of dedicated charities and community organisations who are doing vital work for the community. However, many can struggle to bring in enough volunteers and reach the people they hope to support.

At our drop-in on June 10th, you can speak to our Allerdale Development Officer and receive on-the-spot support with your charity’s needs. Register to let us know you’re coming, or just pop-in between 10am and 1pm.

The drop-in is an opportunity to find out about funding opportunities to cover the cost of new activities you hope to organise, learn new techniques to bring in more volunteers, reach more people or organise training for your team.

Our Development Officer can also provide support with governance, business planning, project monitoring and evaluation.

With our support, we hope to see more charities thriving in Allerdale for the benefit of the community.

Organisations that can receive this support operate in the following wards: Seaton, Harrington, Moorclose & Mossbay, St Johns and Great Clifton, St Michaels, Maryport North, Maryport South, Dearham & Broughton and Flimby.

Organisations are not excluded from this support if their base is elsewhere in West Cumbria, their work just needs to benefit residents of these wards.

The project is funded by Allerdale GDF.
