Keswick Museum- Volunteer Taster Day

Come join us at Keswick Museum in Saturday 25th January 10.30a.m – 2.pm.

You will be able to try our a range of roles currently available at the museum and experience what volunteering at Keswick Museum involves.

1 Visitor Services:
See how customer facing roles can help build your transferable skills for a wider professional market. Strengthen your confidence, collaboration, communication and adaptability skill sets.

2 Administration:
Learn new IT and software skill sets by helping the museum, collect, track and analysis data. Learn to manage priorities, attention to detail, analyse and problem solve data sets.

3 Collections:
Come and learn how we are updating our collections onto national Museum databases, for future generations. See how your involvement helps the development of the museum.

4 School Learning:
Presenting the past to the present. See how the museum works presents historical time periods to visiting schools. See how your support can help with delivering the current educational curriculum to local school parties

Lunch is provided.
