CUMBERLAND COUNCIIL area – Shape the Future of Cumberland Libraries: Share Your Feedback

Cumberland Council is seeking feedback on how library services are delivered across the region.  We are contacting you specifically as you support people we particularly want to hear from.  Your, and their voices matter, and feedback will help ensure that future library services are inclusive, accessible, and meet the needs of all members of the community.

Libraries are more than just buildings—they are safe, welcoming places where everyone should feel valued, and they offer various means of connecting with their services.  This is your opportunity to shape how these spaces evolve to serve your needs and the needs of your community.

COUNTYWIDE – SURVEY Help us understand what the funding challenges are our sector in Cumbria

Our sector survey last year revealed that funding/money is the biggest challenge the VCFSE sector in Cumbria faces.

Our follow-up survey will dig deeper into this area, with questions designed to deliver information we can use to provide additional support.

There are two versions, for members and non-members, so that we can compare the results.

There is an article on our website here: https://cumbriacvs.org.uk/news/funding-challenges-tell-us-about-it/ and we are promoting it via email, social media and our next ebulletin.

Please share a link to the website article with your networks and encourage them to take part.

NORTH CUMBRIA NHS area – OPPORTUNITY – Health & Growth Accelerator Application Process

As you may know The North East North Cumbria ICB is one of 3 ICB’s who have been awarded funds to develop services aimed at preventing people becoming economically inactive due to a health condition.  As part of this work the North Cumbria Delivery Team have been allocated funds to help develop a local service model.

Find out more about this funding opportunity in the below packs.

We are looking for one Lead Organisation and several Support Organisations to deliver this North Cumbria Service Model.

Application process:

The application process has opened today and will close on Friday 13th June at 5pm. We are sorry for the short timeline, this is due to the fact this is a 1 year pilot and we need to have our service up and running by 1st Oct 25, if we are to be able to qualify for funding in Year 2 &3. We also want to ensure that we give successful organisations as much time to mobilise as possible.
