Bedrock Basics secures funding

Gordon Henry, Development Officer for Bedrock Basics Project, shares news of funding for two more years, and free training available in West Cumbria:

I hope that 2024 is a happy, healthy, and successful one for everyone. Up until the end of December 2023 we are pleased to have worked with 268 separate organisations delivering services to communities across Allerdale and Copeland. We hope that organisations have found our support helpful or useful in supporting the important work they do to support individuals, groups, and communities.

We are delighted that Bedrock Basics Project has secured £198,655 of funding from Sellafield Ltd via Cumbria Community Foundation as part of the Transforming West Cumbria Programme to continue to provide support for Phase 2 of the project over the next two years. I wish to thank Sellafield Limited and Cumbria Community Foundation for continuing to fund and have belief in the importance of the work we do.

If there is something you want us to work with you on to build your organisational capacity, strengthen your existing capabilities or develop the sustainability of your organisation then please contact me: Gordon.Henry@cumbriacvs.org.uk
