This event is a networking event for organisations in the Furness area.

The theme of the session is ‘Funding – Mastering the art of successful funding applications’.

The aim of the session is to help people from different parts of the region to get to know each other and share best practice, with a view that partnerships may lead to stronger grant applications to larger funds. This will also provide the framework for building training sessions that meet the need of our members in Furness.

Westmorland and Furness: Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy

The Westmorland and Furness Health and Wellbeing Board is developing a new Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy. This will describe how partners and organisations across Westmorland and Furness will work together to improve the health and wellbeing of the local population and reduce inequalities. We have undertaken a series of engagement events across Westmorland and Furness in recent months and have used the feedback to develop the draft strategy.
