It’s National Volunteers’ Week 1st-7th June 2021 so it’s the perfect opportunity to Get into Volunteering in Cumbria and find out more about becoming a volunteer!

If you want to make a difference in your community and have spare time on your hands then why not offer your time as a volunteer to a local charity or organisation?

Living with and Beyond Cancer in West Cumbria are looking to recruit volunteers to support people with cancer with shopping, gardening, collecting prescriptions and dog walking!

Join the Living with and Beyond Cancer Virtual Volunteer Information Session with Cumbria CVS to find out about the different types of support Living with and Beyond Cancer are providing and the different types of volunteering opportunities available in West Cumbria. See what skills and qualities are needed from volunteers and the time commitment involved. Find out when and where Living with and Beyond Cancer need volunteers, the benefits of volunteering and the Volunteer Recruitment Process. You will also find out about the induction, training and support given to all volunteers.
