Charity Manager
Organisation: Carlisle Sight Support (Carlisle Society for the Blind)
Salary Details: Actual salary £12,480 per annum + 7% pension contribution.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join the team at Carlisle Sight Support, who will contribute to the continued success of a charity that provides information, advice and practical and emotional support to visually impaired people in our community.
The main areas of work include:
- Supporting charity governance
- Facilitating trustee meetings and Annual General Meeting
- Completing annual returns, ensuring compliance with the Charity Commission
- Providing effective leadership and planning
- Representing the charity with other partners and stakeholders
- Supervising existing staff · Monitoring charity finances and planning future budgets
- Ensuring building and resources are legally compliant
- Being responsible for securing grant funding (where required)
