Going Green Together: Strengthening Environmental Action Across Cumbria
We are delighted to be working in partnership with VONNE, with funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, to help voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Cumbria strengthen their environmental action and reduce their environmental impact.
Going Green Together is a 12 month project designed to support organisations on their sustainability journey. Whether you are developing your first environmental policy, looking for funding to support green initiatives, or creating a practical action plan, we can help.
Through the project, we are:
- Delivering quarterly Environmental Sustainability Policy and Action Plan workshops to help organisations create, review and strengthen their environmental policies and plans. Find the next session here
- Promoting green funding opportunities through our Focus on Funding newsletter, helping organisations identify financial resources to support their sustainability goals.
- Providing tailored one-to-one support for VCFSE organisations on:
- Identifying and applying for green funding opportunities
- Developing or strengthening environmental sustainability policies
- Creating practical action plans linked to environmental sustainability objectives
Together, we can help build a greener, more sustainable future for Cumbria’s communities and organisations.
