National Lottery Community Fund wants your help shape to their strategy

A message from the National Lottery Community Fund:

Let’s talk

Join us for a community conversation to help shape the future of the National Lottery Community Fund on July 5th 1.00pm till 3.00pm via Teams.

Now is the time for a conversation about how The National Lottery Community Fund can best support UK communities to thrive. As part of our commitment to putting communities first we’re renewing our UK-wide strategy – and we want you to get involved.

Communities across the UK are facing fresh challenges and opportunities and have new hopes and aspirations. We want you to help us better understand what these are and how we might support them. The National Lottery Community Fund has a role to play in supporting communities like yours to get to where you want to be.

Every year, the projects we back reach more than 5 million people and help tackle things that matter, such as mental health and loneliness, providing young people with skills and employment opportunities, supporting communities’ COVID efforts and much, much more. In the last 5 years alone, we have awarded £3.4 billion in 72,000 grants, supporting amazing things to happen in communities across the UK. Thanks to National Lottery players, every seven minutes we back a community project that makes amazing things possible.

We are passionate about the role of communities and believe now is the time for an important conversation about how we can be the best we can be and make the most difference in our support for UK communities to thrive going forward. We want to build on the best that’s been with the best that’s yet to come. That’s why we now want to take stock and renew.

We need you to help shape the future of the National Lottery Community Fund. Join us 1.00pm till 3.00pm on July 5th via Teams to share what your communities are experiencing. We want to know your thoughts on where we can make the most difference, and with limited resources, what we should focus on, and how you see us working and partnering together on the issues that really matter.
