My name is Emily Wilson, and I’m the new Barrow Development Officer, here to support voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Barrow.

My role focuses on:

• Supporting local groups to develop skills, strengthen governance, and improve long term resilience
• Providing tailored support, including funding advice, business planning, volunteer management, and monitoring and evaluation guidance
• Bringing organisations together through training, events and networking to encourage collaboration
• Ensuring the VCFSE sector is fully involved and represented in local priorities
