Kate joins the team

My name is Kate Grove and I’m the new Development Officer for Mid Copeland.

I cover the area of Gosforth Electoral Ward, which includes Gosforth, Seascale, Beckermet, Calderbridge, Haile, Thornhill, Nethertown and Braystones.

I deliver tailored support and development services and opportunities to voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise groups and organisations in Mid Copeland.

I can offer support around the following themes:

  • Governance and Trustees
  • Business Planning
  • Funding
  • Volunteering
  • Project monitoring and evaluation
  • Facilitating relevant training and events

For example, if you need funding support, I will take a holistic approach to help you to achieve funding readiness; ensuring your group or organisation is ‘fit’ for funding using an organisational ‘health check’ and providing tailored support to meet any gaps, giving the best chance of funding success.

If your voluntary and community group or organisation is based in Mid Copeland and you provide services or activities for the benefit of residents and communities in this area, (or your voluntary group or organisation is based outside of Mid Copeland but your services/activities also benefit residents and communities in Mid Copeland) please do get in touch with me kate.grove@cumbriacvs.org.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

This Development Officer post has been made possible following awards of funding from Mid Copeland GDF Community Partnership’s Community Investment Fund.
