New Volunteering Opportunities database
August 9, 2023
Are you currently registered with us to promote your volunteering opportunities?
We are starting to introduce a new Volunteering Opportunities database for Cumbria.
Organisations can self-register their organisation and add different opportunities onto the database. You can also keep your opportunities up to date by simply logging into the system. This enables potential volunteers who also register through the database to search for local opportunities and apply directly to your organisation.
This brand new system works to build better communities and raise the profile to help to grow, nurture and develop our volunteer workforce throughout Cumbria. It enables organisations to advertise opportunities, attract more volunteers, and sign them up quickly and effectively. We can also email and communicate with volunteers instantly as well as reward and motivate them with instant feedback, achievement badges, and personalised thank you messages. Organisations can self manage their own volunteers through the system through rotas, or use this system to attract volunteers to register via their own websites/online systems. Furthermore, volunteer hours can be logged.
For organisations currently registered with us, we are offering face to face, pre-booked, one-to-one 30 minute support sessions to understand how to use the system and to register your organisation and volunteering opportunities.
