NYAS is a leading provider of innovative childrens rights, participation and advocacy services for children and young people from 0-25. In some services we also provide advocacy for adults.

We are looking to recruit the following: Self Employed Advocate Location: Cumbria Professional hourly rate £15 We are seeking to recruit high calibre advocates to support children, young people and adults to ensure their voices are heard within decision making processes. Applicants must hold relevant qualifications and have experience of direct work with children, young people or adults. This position is open to all applicants but NYAS would particularly encourage applications from male, black or other ethnic minority candidates in accordance with section 159 of the Equality Act 2010. NYAS operates robust safe procedures to ensure the protection of the children, young people and and adults at risk we work with. To comply with NYAS Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
