Due to increasing demand we are looking for experienced adult therapists/counsellors qualified to at least equivalent of a post graduate diploma, to join our therapeutic team to provide specialist support /counselling and trauma focused therapy to adults and young people over the age of 16 years. The successful applicants will work in an inter-agency context and be required to take considerable responsibility around the complexity of their case work and to work autonomously. Therapists and counsellors will work remotely with sessions being delivered via telephone or video link. All team meetings, clinical and case management, and peer support will be through Microsoft Teams.

JOB PURPOSE

These posts will be paid on an agreed freelance self-employed sessional rate to support with service delivery.  This specialist therapeutic role will be responsible to the Operations Manager and Clinical Manager. There will be a full induction process and training around systems and processes, this will be paid at £15 per hour.  We are recruiting freelance staff to deliver 2 sessions per week minimum.

Reporting to: Clinical Manager & Operations Manager  Hours: Sessional  Pay: £35 – £40 depending on accreditation and experience, this will cover the client session, all admin, notes and the completion of outcome and data management, a rate of £15 per hour is paid for multi- agency work and meetings

Base: Carlisle (covering North & West Cumbria), currently working from home.
