We are looking for experienced adult / CYP therapists/counsellors to join our therapeutic team to provide specialist counselling and trauma

focussed therapy and interventions. The successful applicants will work in an inter-agency context and be required to take considerable

responsibility around the complexity of their case work and to work autonomously. We are looking for accredited adult/CYP therapists who are

qualified to a minimum Diploma level, in one or more of a range of therapies, such as Person-Centred Counselling, non-directive therapy

(art/play therapy), CBT, solution focussed therapy and creative arts therapy. Our ideal candidates will have a broad experience of models and

will be able to adapt and apply these in a flexible way to meet the needs of adults/children and young people. Candidates are required to be a

member of a regulatory body, e.g. BACP, UKCP, BAPT, we will be happy to consider those who are working towards this.

JOB PURPOSE: These posts will be paid on an agreed self-employed daily rate. This specialist support role is to be responsible to the Chief

Officer and the Clinical leads. You must have experience of working with a very vulnerable client group and working within a safeguarding and

multi-agency context. We will pay a daily rate of £145 -£160 per day depending on experience and accreditation (based on a 7 hour day an

average of 4 client sessions and all admin, notes, outcome and data management, paid at £25- 29 per hour for face to face therapy and £15 per

hour for multi- agency work & admin time)

Base: Our headquarters is based in Carlisle, but the post will also cover North & West Cumbria. Closing date: Ongoing
