Would you like to be involved in a unique opportunity to work with children, young people and their families in West Cumbria who are affected by suicide?

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to join a partnership with Barnardo’s and Every Life Matters (ELM) new initiative in Cumbria.

The new project will work with schools and young people across west Cumbria to develop a co-produced Safer Schools Suicide Tool Kit. The post holder will  in the development and deliver a peer support programme, establish and deliver group based support for suicide bereaved children and young people lead

The post holder will work in an agile way providing a suite of interventions to  children and young people affected by suicide, this work may be offered in a blended model both face to face and online via a safe digital platform.

The project will also provide training and other engagement raising awareness techniques to improve mental health of school age children.

Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently to 01/01/2024 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement.

This contract is due to expire on 1st January 2024.
